Do all guests need to be seated?
Whilst we do open up a dance floor when the time is right, all guests have to be seated at a table. At Nancy’s we do not offer bar service; all guests are served at their table by one of our fabulous waiters.
What is the maximum number of guests at a table?
We can accommodate up to 15 guests at our larger tables; any more than this and you will need to book two tables. Please let us know in the booking information if you would like to be seated near another booking, and we will do our best to accommodate. Alternatively, drop us an email, and we will try to ensure your tables are booked together.
For gatherings of more than 20, you will need to book one of our private hire spaces.
How long do we get at the table?
However, if we can extend your table, we will absolutely try, depending on availability.
How do I make a group booking? Or private hire?
Group bookings and private hires can be made from the following page.
Do you take walk-ins?
Walk-ins are possible depending on availability. To reserve a table, booking online is recommended. If it is showing as unavailable on the booking widget, then we are fully booked at that time.
What time is last entry?
Last entry is 45 minutes before closing time.
How does the pool table work?
Our Nancy’s Tiger Print Pool Table is free to play, depending on availability! Guests are welcome to move into the pool room once they have closed down their bill at their original table. Once you have moved into the pool room, please note your original table may be given away. However, you are more than welcome to order more drinks to your new table.
On quieter nights, you may be lucky enough to walk in and grab a couple of games. However if you want to guarantee access to the pool table, you can privately hire the space! Nancy’s staff do not monitor who is playing if the room is not privately booked. If the table is in use, muster up the courage to ask if you can play next, or better yet, challenge them to a game. We just ask, please don’t lay on the table!
Can we play our own music?
For a full venue private hire, you can absolutely choose your music and even bring your own DJ! Unfortunately, this option is not available for single room hires.
How do I get on your DJ roster? What days are DJs and what music?
DJs play from 9 pm to 01.30 am on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
We have a large roster of talent through our industry connections and are not currently actively recruiting; however, we are always looking for new and exciting DJs to bring the party to Nancy’s. If you play a mix of disco, house, funk and rare groove, then drop andre@nancys.co.uk an email with a brief introduction and a link to some of your music.
Do you allow photography?
Yes, but please respect the guests and staff. No external lighting devices or professional shoots without prior approval.
Can we bring a birthday cake? Outside food?
Unfortunately, we can’t allow external food into the venue. This includes birthday cakes. We also do not allow sparklers, glitter or large balloons in the venue.
Do you allow under 18s?
Unfortunately, we can’t allow anyone under 18 into the venue, even if accompanied by an adult. Please bring valid physical ID if you’re lucky enough to look under 25.
Can we have a drink at London Bridge Rooftop Bar and come to Nancy’s afterwards, or vice versa?
Absolutely! Our lovely neighbours at LBRT are a great venue for rooftop drinks; however, please note we are separate venues and, as such, drinks or food from one venue are not able to be brought into the other.
On occasion, we may be able to assist in asking if there is space for you in our neighbour venue, but this is not guaranteed. A booking at one venue does not give you access to the other, and they cannot be swapped in-house.
Do you have lift access?
We are located 4 floors up. So that’s about 68 steps without lift access, so please bear this in mind regarding accessibility.
Wheelchair access
For private venue hires, we can allow use of our goods lift. Please note, this is a back-of-house area and the goods lift is not for public use.
